Description MRP 7age 16v Timing Belt Kit Purpose: When installing a 4age 16v head onto a 7afe block the original cam belts will not fit in place. Running a Porsche cam belt will fit in place using the 7afe oil pump, but this pump has smaller gears over the 4age oil pumps meaning less oil flow. Installing a 4age oil pump using this cambelt will cause the belt to be loose. Therefore we have sourced belts which are 1 tooth shorter (116T) with the correct pitch and tooth type. But then you will encounter the over all engine timing to be out due to the taller 7afe block. That is where our re cut crank sprocket comes into play.
